Jay Cox is a Veteran, an Accountant, a Financial Services Representative, and an active advocate for the veterans' community and senior citizens of America. He is now working as an Amerivets agent representing Central Indiana, including the Counties of Hamilton, Marion, Hancock, Rush and Shelby.

Jay served six years on active and reserve duty in the United States Marine Corps, and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He then attended college on the G.I. Bill and received three degrees in Accounting, Government and Economics, and International Affairs.

Jay has been specifically trained in subjects of special concern to senior citizens like Medicare, Medicaid and, for veterans, the benefit programs from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Jay provides personal advice and consultation about legal and financial matters to seniors, veterans, and seniors who are veterans.
